IN the Ghanaian music industry, artistes are judge by thier hit melodies they have; without hit tunes, an artiste is immediately overlooked or resigned and that has impacted numerous demonstrations whose sole point is to discharge the same number of bangers as they can.

Notwithstanding, that isn’t a line that Highlife artiste Kwaisey Pee has toed in his vocation, and he says he doesn’t plan to do so now.

As per him, he represents great music and won’t follow inclines only for hit tunes.

“I don’t pursue hit tunes yet I have confidence in taking as much time as necessary to deal with my music to remain on the brains of individuals for quite a while. I don’t really mind if my tunes are not hits any longer so far as I am doing acceptable music.

“On the off chance that it is just a couple of individuals who value the great music I do, that is fine by me,” he told Graphic Showbiz in a meeting as of late.

As indicated by the Mehia Odo hitmaker, the melodies he has done in the past are proof of how he needs his music to be evergreen and delighted in consistently.

“My tunes will consistently be evergreen since I set aside effort to take a shot at them and that is the thing that I need to be associated with. I would prefer not to discharge a hit tune today and in the following a half year you can’t hear it out, that isn’t me,” he said.

Kwaisey Pee tested youthful artistes not to concentrate just on doing hit tunes, appreciate the notoriety and be insignificant in a couple of months.

“A portion of the youthful ones are doing very well however a large portion of them are simply concentrating on the hits and not so much focusing on what goes into the music,” he expressed.

The recognition has been that the present artistes are getting considerably more cash than the veterans yet Kwaisey Pee doesn’t get tied up with that, saying music isn’t paying at this point.

As per him, music used to pay during the times of Amakye Dede, Kojo Antwi and Daddy Lumba yet not any longer.

“In the event that you are not an A-rundown artiste like Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy or Sarkodie then disregard taking in substantial income from music.

“The youthful artists presently record melodies and put it on the web for individuals to download for nothing. I can disclose to you they don’t get that much cash-flow,” he uncovered.

Kwaisey Pee has been around for 10 years and he is known for tunes like Krokro Me, Brebre and Osugyani. He is right now advancing his most recent melody, Nonfa, highlighting Medikal.

Authorities in New York state said a pair of off-duty police officers came to the rescue of a hawk they spotted stuck in the front bumper of a truck.

The Nassau County Police Department said Marine Bureau Officers Schwaner and Leek were on their way to work about 6:20 a.m. Wednesday when they spotted the hawk stuck in the front bumper of a parked Dodge Ram pickup truck.

The officers stopped to investigate and discovered the bird, a red-tailed hawk, was still alive, but unable to pull itself free from the bumper.

The officers carefully extracted the raptor from the vehicle and took it to the Nassau County Police Marine Bureau base in Bay Park, where they contacted the Volunteers for Wildlife rescue group in Locust Valley.

Volunteers transported the bird from the police station to the wildlife facility, where it is being treated for its injuries.

Police were forced to break up a lockdown party after more than 30 people set up a ‘huge tented village’ in a woodland area last night.

Officers said the revellers had lit a fire and reported finding bottles of alcohol and nitrous oxide cannisters littered at the scene.

Officers from Cheshire Police’s Rural Crime Team assisted their colleagues at Derbyshire Police in dealing with the incident near the Cheshire-Derbyshire border last night, Stoke-on-Trent Live reports.

Despite lockdown restrictions slowly being eased, mass gatherings are still banned under government guidance.

Currently only six people from different households are permitted to meet in an outdoor space.

Patrols attending the incident last night discovered the crowd set up around a fire, with alcohol bottles and nitrous oxide cannisters littering the ground.

A Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team spokesman tweeted: “30+ adults set up just over the border in Derbyshire.

“Cheshire RCT supported Derbyshire Police patrols and ensured the group packed up and moved on.

“A huge tented village set in the trees with alcohol lay around, a fire, and with nitrous oxide cannisters littered.”

Staffordshire Police have also pledged to clamp down on any such events taking place this weekend.

Assistant Chief Constable Simon Tweats said: “With everything else the police are contending with at the moment, this really shouldn’t be one of them.

“It’s precisely what Staffordshire Police will be looking out for today and tomorrow and disrupting straight away – wherever it might be.”

Former Musicians Union of Ghana president Bice Osei Kuffour has won his bid to become the New Patriotic Party parliamentary candidate for the Asante Akyem South Constituency in the Ashanti Region.

Obour is contesting with three other people including the incumbent Member of Parliament Hon. Kwaku Asante Boateng, who has served two terms on the ticket of the NPP.

Provisional results according to Gyesi Boako as sighted on his Facebook page by attractivemustapha.com show that Obour has defeated the others.

A source in the Constituency says they believe the former MUSIGA boss will improve the Asante Akyem Constituency in terms of development and enhance the progress of its people better than the other aspirants.

He is reported to have already completed some projects including roads networks.

Obour’s father’s death was a major blow to his campaign especially because it was alleged that he died of Covid-19 and the subsequent brouhaha surrounding the burial but he seems to have bounced back strongly.
